Cardiovascular

Heart Disease is the number one cause of death and should not be taken lightly. We are capable of performing a wide range of tests that will be interpreted by our cardiologist. Depending on the test results our medical staff will give you a prescription to assist you in living a long, healthy life.

Echocardiogram

An ultrasound of the heart that enables our doctor to examine your heart valves, determine the size of your heart, and assess how well it is functioning. The test can estimate how forcefully your heart is pumping blood, and can spot areas of the heart wall that have been injured by a previous heart attack or some other cause.

Carotid Ultrasound

An ultrasound that shows the amount of blood flow in the carotid arteries, the major blood vessels to the brain located on either side of your neck. With this imaging technique, your doctor can see if there is any narrowing of your carotid arteries because of cholesterol deposits or some other problem.

Venous

This type of ultrasound shows if there is a blockage in a leg vein. Such blockages are usually caused by blood clots, which can be dangerous and even life threatening if they break loose and travel through the blood to the lungs. If you have pain or swelling in one leg, your doctor may order an ultrasound to determine whether your symptoms are caused by a blockage
